Question GPU fans spin for a little then stop along with no screen display.

I got an AMD GPU today(used) when i installed, the problem as title appear but when i revert to my old card, everything is normal. So is it a dead card?

yes it's 500w come with 6 and 8 pin cables, the AMD card is rx470 has only one 6 pin connector.

Probably. I bought it online around 40$ and it also a bit rusty.

That's the same problem as the video cards I bought before. Because RX Series graphics cards use the memory mining. So it's common that the screen doesn't turn on when you use a rx470/rx480

The price must be mining. In my country, the prices of 470 and 570 are same. But rx570 is only mining a shorttime.

Solved the problem. Turned out it's the DVI port on the GPU had some copper rods snapped and fall of its holes. Can't fix it so i use the HDMI port instead and it's working fine now. Thanks for replying anyways
