Hello all
I'm very new into the PC building territory.
I put together a PC and thought that the GPU was faulty. I would start the PC, the GPU fins would spin for a few seconds, then stop. The HDMI port on the GPU is working, but if I run a software such as CPUID HWMonitor, the GPU is not detected. Previously, I had taken the GPU out and sent it back to repair and installed an old 1060 of mine. The PC worked perfectly, so I ruled out most of the other hardware as the potential issue. No issues for 2 weeks running. I received the GPU back and went to install and was met by the EXACT same issue. Fans spin for a few seconds, then stop, and the HWMonitor software I use is not detecting the GPU. I've triple checked the cables and even used other cables.
I'm stumped!
GPU - RX 6700XT
CPU - Ryzen 7 5800X
MB: MSI B550 Gaming
PCU is 650W
