CPU: Intel i5-6600k
PSU: DeepCool DA600, 600W

So I built this PC almost 2 years ago, but I was using low budged GPU.

Yesterday a friend found second-hand Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970 gv-n970g1 gaming-4gd and gave it to me so I can test it on my PC since his PSU is not powerful enough. I attached the GPU and connected the 8pin and 6pin cables from the PSU. All 3 GPU fans start spinning, but nothing shows on the monitor, even the bios startup. Is the GPU dead or could it be something else? I read that there might be something to change in bios or something. Also the GPU needs at least 550W, but my PSU has 600W.

Thanks in advance.

He hasn't even paid for it yet, so It's not a big deal if it's not working. Anyways It's connected via HDMI.

Damn... Do you think if there's something else I can try? I want to try all possibilities before I give up on it. xD
