Gpu fans start but stop shortly afterwards

Built a pc and it didn't post. Thought it was motherboard. But all fans ran fine and so did the motherboards lights. The gpu's fan ran fine too. But now after I rebuilt incase of a mistake, my gpu fans start and then stop a few seconds later. Any ideas?

Are you sure it hasn't done this? What brand is the graphics card?

I'm pretty sure it hasn't. It's an EVGA gtx 1060 3gb

The acx cooling feature stops the fan when the temps low.
It is normal for the fan to start on start up then stop you have no stress there for no temp.

Thank you. I also have another problem. When I turn my pc it doesn't post to my monitor. And as I said earlier all the fans work and the motherboard lights up. Any ideas why?

Since you picked this as solved more expert help may not read ths.
Mite be best to sart a new thread.
But list your specs in the thread
Check your bios settings for pci/e
Not onboard graphics.
Remove and reseat card.
Try another hdmi /dp cables
Check tv/monitor settings.
The more info your list and things you have tried will get more expert help.
