I have an old PC and i wanted to try something new, to flash my GPU. I read some forums about it, and everything seen to be ok. After 1 day, i tried it, it worked everythink well, but when i try to restart it, it won't start. By unpluging the GPU, running iGPU it will boot up, and if i put GPU back, it won't. Mobo is single-bios, HP 0a64h ( old one ) and gpu is SAPPHIRE AMD RADEON HD 6670 1GDDR5.
Can i fix it somehow ? I still have a backup file of bios, but i can't flash back whit iGPU cuz GPU-Z show only the iGPU bios section .... by putting another AMD GPU and flashing that to this version, or simply putting it and then putting mine back will solve the problem ?

and, another question, is I can't repair it, what is broken ? mobo, gpu, or i can use all 2, but not in one ( ex. mobo whit another gpu, and the gpu whit another mobo )

1. No backup bios, and if i try to downgrade the mobo bios ( i have the latest ) maybe it will be fixed ?

2. I tried it, but my PC won't boot if I put my GPU in..

Can i still use mobo whit another gpu ( i will donate/sell it for someone if it can still work whit another gpu, even a lower one) and if I buy another mobo (+cpu ram etc.) i still can use "bricked" gpu ? (maybe mobo is bricked, maybe they all work but not together)

Because the problem is from the GPU, even you downgrade the MB BIOS, that will not help, and yes, you can use other GPU.

Usually when the MB does not recognize the newer GPU, you should update the MB BIOS first, not the GPU BIOS.

Because you can use the iGPU so the PC (MB) is fine.

Your motherboard bios should have a setting in the 'advanced' section called 'chipset'. In here is where you can enable or disable onboard graphics. Locate this in your bios. After you have done that, what you are going to do is install your dead videocard and reboot into the motherboard bios, not Windows! Find that section again, and make sure integrated graphics is enabled and selected as the graphics the computer will use. Save your changes and reboot into Windows. Now you can follow the rest of the steps in the link about how to unbrick your graphics card.

If any of this is too much for you to follow, what made you think you could flash your card?

This isn't too much to follow, but I STUCK AT THE PART WHERE I NEED TO ENABLE IGPU ... cuz I can't .. I don't have those thinks in Advanced Mode in bios, i'l come back whit a picture

I used some years this combo, but it bricked just after i changed gpu bios ... so ok, I can use another gpu in this motherboard, but i can use this "bricked" gpu in another motherboard ?

MB recognized GPU even whit old bioses, i updated bios, ( on mb) and nothing was new/better, but just for security. I used it for some months, and i wanted to try to flash gpu bios too ... and i'l broked it :/

UPDATE: As you can see, if I put my GPU in, the PC won't boot, but everythink is working ( cooler etc.) .. if I want my pc to boot, I need to remove the CMOS battery, wait a little bit and then boot (after 0.30-1 min of no-boot black screen)

From the 1st video, you may try use the default setting in the BIOS.

If yous still use the bricked GPU, that is why your PC did not boot in the 2nd video. And you can use that bricked GPU in other PC too. You need the new GPU.

One rule for updating the MB or GPU BIOS, if they work fine don't update the BIOS, except you know how to do it in the right way.

I know that rule, and i'l still update my bios when I will need, but gpu bios ? .... no :3 So you're saying that I can use this gpu in another mobo, and in this mobo i can put another gpu ... okkey, ty :) i'l donate this mobo whit another gpu :) ty for help

If i'l give it in the service, and pay for that, they could flash the bios back (they can, not this is the question, but this:) and it will work in the old mobo ?

If they can fix it, like flash back the right BIOS, or change the BIOS chip, and it also depends on the MB, like you had the HP OEM motherboard, that GPU may not work, because the MB may or may not have the BIOS for the HD6670. Because if the MB has the right BIOS, the HD6670 will work, otherwise the GPU will not work with the HP 0a64h.

Yes, if the MB has the right BIOS.
