GPU for ASUS P5N-E

Yer, I know, the P5N-E SLI is ancient but this may be my last PC game (end of an era...); Deus Ex Mankind. Its min specs have "raised the bar". 8GB memory is fair enough but the GPU requires 2GB VRAM. (I assume it won't run with less?)
Current GPU is an ancient Radeon R7 200 series; well it ran (new) Doom ok.
So my question... will it take a GeForce GTX 750 Ti ? (assuming PSU is ok which it is).
Or is my best bet just to find a cheap Radeon R7 200 with 2GB?

I have a P5N-E SLI in my PC with a Asus Geforce GT 730 1gb and miune crashes all the tiume, dont know whether it is to do with the PSU in mine though as it should be much bigger than what it has in it. But i assume all the 700 series would act the same with that motherboard, just a guess...

I went for a 750 Ti and it worked great. (Deus Ex Mankind Divided).
