Hi..I have an old gigabyte ep45-ud3p with a Intel core 2 quad 9550 processor My graphics card is an ancient 8800 gts .what would be the best gpu I could buy for this system without bottleneck in. Thanks

What about a 6gb gtx 1060.yes it's overkill but when I upgrade in a couple of years it'll be current

In a couple years it won't be current. In 2020, it'll be a four-year-old midrange GPU.

If you were upgrading in a couple months, it may make sense (though still better to wait given a new generation is close to coming out). But not a couple of years.
