Question GPU for New PC Build, Confused

Parts are in for my new PC build. GPU is the final part, and most expensive. No interest in overclocking, more future proofing with some upgrades along the way.

NVDIA/AMD: No Preference
Usage: Smart Home management, Streaming (OBS, Zoom, Teams), Gaming (Lost Ark, Armored Warfare), Light video/photo editing, 5-10 browser tabs at all times.
Monitors: Three, two HDMI, one DP. One of the monitors is 4K. Would like to jump to 4 monitors.
Price: +/- $500 US

Is HDMI on the way out for GPU's? I noticed both cards only have 1 HDMI and 3 DP's. Is this normal due to the gaming applications?

DP supports higher refresh rates and resolutions and it's cheaper to make.
