Would a GPU such as a GT 710 or GT 730 work for an office computer? The most graphics intensive thing the computer would we used for is 720/1080p video.
Yes you don't need anything more than that. In fact, Intel's and AMD's onboard graphics will work fine for that use so you really don't even need a dedicated GPU. Also, I'm assuming you are aware the GPUs you reference are two generations old now and no longer sold new. At least from vendors.

Agreed, if it's a build from scratch the iGPU on the 2200G is quite good and even the newer Intel HD iGPUs are decent, enough for what your trying to achieve.
I'd recommend the 2200g. For 90 dollars, you get a capable cpu and gpu in one. I think it's the best thing you'll find. It's igpu are way better than the junk gt 710 and 730. Don't bother with those cards.
