System freezes when starting any games with my new GPU.
Display goes black (not turned off), and in ~5-10 (sometimes more than 30) minutes the system restarts automatically.
No PSU problems, tested. Also GPU tested in an old system and works fine.
Tried with Windows 8.1 64bit, Windows 10 64bit, drivers re-installed manually.

Config:
MB: Gigabyte H81M-HD3
GPU: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, 4GB GDDR5, 128bit, PH-GTX1050TI-4G
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
CPU: I3 4130
HDD 500GB, SSD 128GB

Could be the motherboard broken or some incompatible drivers?

Solution
I would not put any money in to the older system. You would also need more RAM. 4gb is the minimum for Windows 10 now. You would need at least 8gb.

I don't know what your budget is, buy the AMD 1200 CPU is a good budget chip and the AM4 platform should be around for awhile. But you would need a new CPU/mobo/RAM and that is basically a new system.

Intel is releasing their 8th gen CPUs and the new i3 will be quad core parts. They will be the best budget CPUs on the market and are supposed to be in the $120 range. But the motherboards will be higher than the AMD counterparts. But the new i3 clean the floor with the 1200.
Thanks for fast reply.
Cleaned with DDU in safemod, unfortunately same issue.

Here's a windows crash log:

Anyway, will upgrade my old PC with a new MB and CPU.
ASUS M5A78L-M LX3, Socket AM3+
and
AMD FX 8300, 3.3/4.2GHz, 8MB would be a good config to my GPU?

This Graphics Card does not have power pins.

No, do not get a AM3+ chip and motherboard. That platform is dead as disco. I would look at a cheap used i5 4690 to drop in your current system. Any upgrade to a AM4 or modern Intel chipset will require a new CPU, Mobo, and RAM. That will get expensive.

But I don't think that dropping a new CPU will fix your problem. There may be an issue with the motherboard, but I am not sure. Since your GPU does not have a power cable from the GPU, there may be an issue with the PCIe slot not providing the 75 watts needed to run the GPU.

Since you only have one PCIe x16 slot, it is impossible to know for sure. I would try the card on another system to see if it is the card, or your system.

I mentioned that i've tested it in my old system, and works great, but low config:
E6550 2.33GHz (2 core), 4GB DDR3
The MB is LGA775 and doesn't support a significantly better CPU. PSU, RAM, HDD, Case are OK.
Wanted to buy only the MB and CPU (with the 1050ti) for the old system, and leave the I3 as it is, for job.

Great. Thank you for this reply. Will look for the i3.
