GPU Frequency Fluctuation

Was wondering how much gpu clock speed should vary during gameplay. I have a 580 and it seems to bounce around quite a lot, often times going from 100% to 0%. Temps look fine at around 50-60c. All other stats in wattman are holding steady while I am playing.

When you said 100% to 0%, I'm assuming you mean GPU activity, not frequency? It's normal for it to bounce around, but it shouldn't drop to zero during gaming except in cases of load screens or other static image on the screen (or if you alt-tab out of the game) where the GPU doesn't really have anything to do.
