Hi guys,
On Black Friday, I upgraded my motherboard and CPU to a modern Ryzen 5 3600. I kept my old 8GB of DDR4 RAM, PSU (500W, should be more than enough) HDD (with all my stuff on it), and GTX 1050 Ti from my old build, thinking they'd slot in perfectly well.
After installing everything and trying it out, the GPU gave no signal to my monitor, despite using the same cable and monitor. The fan ís spinning, however, and the CPU fan is also spinning. All lights are on properly as well.
Did my GPU die? Or are there any ways of fixing it? Noteworthy is that everything worked properly before I removed the old CPU and MoBo, and I was grounded the entire process.
List of parts:
Ryzen 5 3600 w/ stock cooler
Asus PRIME B450M-A motherboard
Crucial CT2K4G4DFS8213 2x4GB DDR4 RAM
Cooler Master B500 ver. 2 PSU
Soms 1TB HDD
Pre-emptive thanks!
