Hello!

I was finishing up my custom water cooling loop yesterday when I hit my GPU by accident. This was when the whole system was on. The left pins of the GPU sparked and the system shut down. The pins themselves are completely gone. What can I do to fix them?

sure tyhats not how it was made ?? did you look at pictures of your card from other places and see there missing on them as well ??

still that sparking part regardless cant be good but weather it did damage or not ????? [ MSI TF 750 ??? ]

not that you posted your card so we could go look at any of that ??

if they are damaged I guess rma if excepted or buy a new card

Hi

Does your motherboard have one or two pci-e. 16 lane slots ?
Have you checked the socket where the pins which vaporised were for similar damage

Do you have integrated graphics so you can check the mother board and rest of the system is still working?

You probably need a new grahics card and if only one 16 lane slot a new motherboard

Obviously an expensive mistake to make

Yep, the pins were vaporised. My motherboard has 3 PCI lanes so the mobo isn't dead.

The pins were fried, and my card is a Powercolor 390x Devil.

ya, nothing missing from these pics of the card ??

bad news I guess its replace the card as far as I know on that and like the guy said above now what damage could there be in side the pci-e slot as well if it did that to the card [the contacts in the slot for the cards golden figures ??] you know they took a equal hit
