So, I do not know much about PC builds and stuff, what I am trying to do is get a GTX 1050 but I am not sure about all the stuff on PCI-e and stuff, I need help and more info on if I can work the GPU on my motherboard and how to setup everything before I buy it and set it up.

The Inspiron 3847 has H81 chipset MB, and it has the pcie2.0X16 so you will be fine. But I don't know which gtx1050ti you will buy, because the Dell case will support 9" or maybe little bit less 9" and some of gtx 1050ti has more 9" in length. Here is what I found the Dell Inspiron 3847 case like: http://en.community.dell.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/3514/3847INSIDE.JPG You may double check it out.

Also you need to find out the what PSU is in the dell PC, because the gtx1050ti requires 320W PSU at least. http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

And one more, if you have good PSU for the gtx1050, and the gtx1050ti will fit into the case, then keep in mind you are better to read the info...
