GPU Hardware problem.

Hi Guys

What are those Brass lines on the GPU pcb base called, which go into the mother board's PCI slot.

Why I'm asking is that I recently bought a Gigabyte Nvidia GT 710 2GB DDR3 (GV-N710D3-2GL) Graphic Card / PCI-E 2.0 / 2GB /, and it came with 2 half missing brass dies. And my display drivers have been crashing since I installed this Card. Do you think may be this could be the reason, if not could this become a problem in the future? Should I ask for a replacement?

They are called contacts or pins and they are gold not brass. If you have missing/damaged contacts it can cause instability.
