Hello Toms Hardware,
My GTX 1080 MSI Gaming X 11Gbpa has recently stopped outputting a picture. The system works because I can do everything via the integrated Intel GPU.
GPU-Z is also a bit strange, no BIOS version or clock rate are displayed, the render test is working and the GPU gets warm, the fans are spinning. The problem occurred overnight.
I tried installing the driver via Geforce Experience but I get a blue screen. The installation works with a 1060.
I have already:

  • changed the Pcie slot
  • changed the ram
  • uninstalled the driver
  • tried a different gpu

If anyone has a solution, please let me know.

Specs:
Asus PRIME Z390-P
i7-9700k
GTX 1080
16 GB DDR4
