GPU hdmi port dead, will the other ports follow?

I bought an Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB STRIX and the HDMI port was dead when I recieved it. I can deal with one not working but does this mean that the dvi and displayport will die as well?

Was it used? Did you know it was going to be dead?

....as far as you question....I'd say probably not.

Those other ports are "basically" separate circuits (even though they are connected somewhere)....so because something happened to the HDMI circuit doesn't necessarily mean there is anything detrimental going on with the other ones.
