Gpu hdmi stopped working, burn smell

I noticed when the hdmi stopped i smelled something burnt

It happened somewhere in the end

I would suggest that you clean your computer because that picture i can see dust everywhere ontop off the gpu and on the cables and also take out the gpu and inspect it for any burn marks and check the gpu cables!

It is dirty from mice but i dont think it was that because it was working fine and today just poof

Dirty and dusty can effect your computer so sounds off it your gpu burned out have you got warranty on this! because most likely you need to send it off or buy an new one. But you really need to clean your computer out!

I do not know if you can fix it or not but is your GPU still under warranty and also have you tried using another hmdi cable or another port on your gpu!

Hope someone on this forum will give you an better answer but sounds like your gpu have gone and maybe you need to replace it!

does your gpu have another output you can try?dvi or analog.do you have onboard video.if so try that.the burnt smell is not a good sign,and to me signals the possible demise of your gpu.

if you have an evga video card there been recalls on the 900/1000 for overheat and bad vrm there are video of them going up in flames.
