I recently built my computer, and have been running tf2, deus ex human revolution and some other games. However, when I started to play Borderlands 2, it crashed pretty quickly, and I found my card was very hot. I turned up the fan speed to 75%, and now everything seems to be fine, although occasionally it makes a weird humming sound. The card gets up to 52 degrees C, which seems kinda hot. The card is a GTX 780, and although the settings are maxed out on bl2, i figured it would handle it with our getting so hot. Is this normal? Or not?

Gotcha, yeah, your computer is probably perfectly fine. You don't need to have the fans on the video card set that high, like I said, anything under 80C is normal operating temperature for a video card. The humming you hear occasionally from the video card is either the fans resonating or some coil whine, both normal.

Okay Good it hasn't happened again but it was kinda annoying as i have to manually shut down my computer.
