Could you all please reccomend a graphics card that wont be bottle necked by a Ryzen 3 1200? My budget is about £130. I have amazon prime so if you found something on there thatd be convenient. I dont necesarailly need it to be good for games just something as good as it can be to complete the system and not be bottlenecked

A gtx 970 i had off ebay turned out to be faulty so unforuntaley looking for a different card now hence the ask for help

Thanks! Im running 4gb ddr4 ram and a 600W EVGA PSU. (can upgrade to 8gb if need be)

I think ill keep it all amd. And thinking about getting this one now as its not a bad deal. Im hoping this will work! I am having non stop bad luck with video cards.

Should I go for the 4gb or 8gb version, is it necessary to have the extra 4gb as in is there actually any significant difference in day to day use?

It really all depends on the price. If the RX 570 8GB is cheap enough for you then get it, it will have better performance compared to the 4GB as time goes on and newer and newer games are released. But, if the RX 580 4GB is close enough in price to the RX 570 8GB, then get the RX 580 4GB because it will be faster.

I suppose as time goes on I dont mind upgrading again im ok for the short term saving. I will go for the XFX 8GB RX470. Thanks for all help. Was considering ebay for better and cheaper but dont want any more horror stories so ill just get it for £120 off CCL brand new. Thanks for that link, CCL seems to be better value than amazon for quite a few things.

470 should hold for a little while at 1080p 60 hz. The next thing I'd start thinking on would probably be cpu. But depending how much and type of ram you've got, ram is cheap now. Upgrading that to 16gb wouldn't be a bad move. However, check what your motherboard will take on cpu. I think Ryzen 4000 series release later this year. So you may be able to jump to one of those, or grab a 3000 series on sale. 2000 series parts are going at good prices now also. For example, right now at my local microcenter, a 2600x is 129.99. The 2700x is 159.99. Those are insane for the money and would be huge over your 1200 if your board accepts them.
