Hello,

I have a AMD Radeon R9 280 GPU and my fps is pretty low in games like Arma 3. I was wondering if I should upgrade to a better one or is there anyway i can increase fps with my current one.

Note: I just updated drivers.

also I am open to suggestions

+1 Agree to that. Arma 3 is alot like Arma 2, as in it's not very stable and fps is never great. Optimisation just isn't there.

So if I were you stick with your r9 280, it handles most games pretty well and it's just Arma that is a problem for all GPU's. So to answer your question, no don't upgrade just for Arma.

Look up on google, there is many tweaks to try make the game run better, but none of them actually make the game completely smooth. What you get is what you got, perhaps in the future Arma itself will update the game.

The only thing you can do now is update your drivers and hope it fixes it a little. Right now for AMD the Omega drivers are...

I have an AMD FX 8320 Eight-Core Processor and 8 gb of RAM, and Arma BR has been up and down, i get anywhere from 25-45.

-good luck
