In light of my huge problem with my R7 260x (that I think is a driver issue, but we'll see), I'm interested if anyone has any suggestions on what I can install on my PC.

My specs:

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
AMD FX-4350 19 °C
Vishera 32nm Technology
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 LE R2.0 (Socket 942) 29 °C
HL269DPB (1920x1080@60Hz)
HD RADEON 6450 1 GB DDR3
931GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 ATA Device (SATA) 34 °C
1863GB Seagate Desktop USB Device (USB (SATA))
DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NS95 ATA Device
Realtek High Definition Audio

My case does not seem very big, I think this is my case:

I was thinking of this one

http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=43_1200_557_559&item_id=053246

But it seems to be too big?

I don't know, I've got quite a few cables in and around my case, and my MOBO is only about 9ish inches, I'm not sure how that big GTX660 would work, being 10+ inches, any recommendations?

Want something equal or better than the R7 260x (since in my previous threads that was the one I wanted...because it was cheapest and seemed good). I'm looking anywhere under $200 to be honest, the lower the better.

Any ideas?

Looking for something good (that will fit) and won't have problems (like the R7 260x)

Great if anyone could provide me links to the GPU's too. I live in Canada, and I use Tigerdirect.ca and Canada Computers alot as they have stores nearby

To be honest, I keep seeing a step up of each GPU to be anywhere of $5-20 and I'm not sure is that dollar extra worth the performance? Games like TERA (where apparently Radeons suck), Deus Ex, that new Lara Croft Tomb Raider game, and something good for future investment...(so I don't need to constantly shelve out $200 every year)

im worried about the cables touching the GPU etc and stuff, i've got a modular one but it seems like ive still got quite a bunch.

i actually have that ASUS one that you linked for 199.99 at canada computers + tax then a $20 MIB

funny i never knew of NCIX lol, i was hoping for the EVGA version as it seems smaller

what about r9 270? i have had a HUGE issue with the drivers (black screen/bsod/no load PC/crashing) with the r7 260x...so....

The cables are not an issue, provided that the actual power carrying metal part is covered, which it should be, unless you cut the wire casing off for some incomprehensible reason. Just don't let them get in the fan. Use cable ties. Most of us have cases that size category (mid), besides the full and super tower people. I made a PSU cover out of acrylic plastic, which works fine with the right tools and skill.

which seems so much cheaper...or a r9 270...or a hd 7850...here...

I meant the actual metal part of the wires, I.E. if you were to cut the casing of and leave just the metal out. http://www.hwcompare.com/13789/geforce-gtx-650-ti-2gb-vs-geforce-gtx-660/ A link to a comparison of the 650TI and 660. There is a clear winner. The 660. Just to keep this in perspective, I, an active system builder/mild modder use a GTX460 768MB, which I still play TribesAscend, War Thunder, and Goat Simulator on, at ULTRA settings, meaning everything maxed out. I get no lag.

EDIT: Instead, I buy stupid things, like a $320 water cooler. I still use a Raidmax Serian, MSI 970A-G46 (an absolute piece of crap motherboard-never buy one), and an 8800 GTS as a dedicated PHYSX processor. I don't even own an SSD, besides in my MacBook Pro Retina 13in. The lesson there is buy to future-proof, Spend the cash for the better piece of equipment, like my Swiftech H20 320 Edge HD cooler, which will last me five years at least. So get the better card, and don't end up spending $1100 on a PC that ends up being worth $800.

kinda lookin for one that won't have huge BSOD/black screen errors like I did with the R7260x, unless that is a driver specific issue...i mean a BIOs issue sorry
