Question GPU HELP

My RX580 8gb card keeps crashing and overheating in my new build and when i take it out the fans, and everything else run perfectly for as long as i want. Does this mean it is forsure the GPU? I’m looking to get a 1660 as a replacement.

-AMD Ryzen 5 2600
-ASROCK B450M PRO4
-EVGA 600BR PSU

What driver version are you using? I know many people have been having issues with the Adrenalin 2020 drivers. I'm on 19.9.2 and it's good.

Does the situation improve if you run with the side panel removed from your case?

Go for a 1660 TI if you decide to get one.
