First here is my rig:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK
Memory: 2x8GB
CPU: i5-4670k @ 3.5 Ghz
Graphics Card: PNY Geforce GTX 660
PSU: Corsair 650W

When playing any semi intensive games at seemingly random points I will see insane power spikes. When this happens whatever game I play crashes. This makes playing most games nearly impossible. I am certain this is not a problem with either my memory or power supply as they have both been replaced and this problem has continued. In the picture below I've marked these nonsensical values, and the first circled peak reads that 37000000 number. Any solutions will be greatly appreciated. If there are any other stats or benchmarks you would like me to show, I would be to supply them. http://prntscr.com/919inn

I will try that now and report back.

I don't think the spikes in GPU useage are caused by power supply voltage spikes, it seems to me as if they are just a symptom of the computer crashing.
I know Corsair are only a mid quality power supply, but the 500W Corsair CX on my rig has plenty of power after 2 years use.
If crushsquid wants to test his PSU, he can run a stress test on the CPU and see if it runs OK

As I said, I have replaced the power supply and saw no change in this problem so I'm doubting that is the issue, but if you still think it is a likely cause then i'm willing to test it.

I'm not really sure why, but when I plug my monitor into the onboard graphics (which I have never used before) nothing displays, it may be possible that onboard graphics are disabled.

I can't get the onboard graphics to display anything, do you know how to enable them?

I unplugged my gpu and when I turn my computer on when plugged into onbaord graphics my monitor doesn't even exit sleep mode. Could you think of any alternative tests?

I just tried using onboard graphics and they worked fine, I guess it is an issue with my graphics card. Unfortunately I bought it after market so I have no warranty and I am too poor to buy another. Are there any solutions that may not fix the issue completely, but at least make my games playable (i.e. underclock gpu... etc)?
