GPU is not detected and no Boot

Just got a new Nitro R7 370 4gb GPU (two actually, after reading a bit thought the first was DOA but now same problem with second.)

system specs

Asrock 890GX pro3 Newest Bios up dated
CX600 watt PS
AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 Processor
8gb Ram

turns on, never get the bios boot screen, debugger on mobo stops at 97
Have unplugged everything besides fans and boot HD and no change.

Highly doubt i got this unlucky and received 2 DOA GPUs.

Please help.

Not entirely sure but I had the same problem when I bought my 680 4gb, I had to get a more powerful PSU because itd just kill my 600w everytime I put it in

did it ever even get to the bios screen though? mine never passes the initial boot and the mobo stops it at 97 witch shows up as no gpu detected.

890gx pro3 MOBO needs to have the Beta Bios in order to run this video card, among other video cards. be sure to update to the BETA Bios. 1.53 not 1.4
