GPU is not showing in windows 7

i just updated my GPU in my old pc and it boots from the GPU but it dosnt show up, so i cant download drivers GPU: gtx 960.
I have updated the BIOS the motherboard is a old MSI h61m-E3 (B3).
i can use it when i plug my screen in but its just that geforce experience and device manager cant find the GPU so i cant update my drivers

Are you connected to the GPU? Or the ports o nthe motherboard?

yes the screen is connected to the GPU
