ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 Super
MSI Pro B650-P Wifi (Mobo)
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-core (CPU)

When I initially booted up Windows, I started doing stuff and realized I needed to make sure it was running on my RTX and not my integrated GPU, because the HDMI cable was plugged into my Mobo... Windows Device Manager didn't even detect my RTX being connected at all!

The RTX definitely has power, and is in PCIe slot 1.

The solution I tried was totally disabling integrated GPU in BIOS to try to force it to use the RTX (and, ofc, plugging HDMI into the RTX)... Nothing! My monitor never sees any input!

And, now I can't turn the monitor on to view BIOS to reactivate integrated GPU to actually do anything on my brand new PC 🙁

Let me know what other information I can send to help :)

Solution
The light on the video card itself, yes. It is red, ALWAYS. whether the mobo is on or not. whether the card is connected to power or not. as long as the mobo is connected to power, and the card remains in the slot, the light stays on.
Usually that would mean it's not getting power (referring to once you power up the system) which could explain why it's not being detected.
Along the bottom right on your motherboard is JBAT1 which is the CMOS reset jumper.

Unplug the power cord from your PC, give it a minute or so, then bridge the jumper for about 10s, and then you can plug the power back in and boot up with system defaults.

As for the video card not being detected I'd suggest removing it making sure the slot is clear and there's no damage and then plug it back in and verify all power connections are snug.

I can try that... will that wipe my Windows though? or will that just revert all BIOS settings to default?
Also, what is "bridging"?

Already removed card and checked for clear slot and everything. I can confirm the card has power, the indicator light is on (when I remove power from the card, or even remove the card from the PCIe slot, the indicator light turns off)

It doesn't touch Windows, just the BIOS settings themselves. Just use a jumper if the board came with one otherwise anything with conductive metal like a screw driver.

Which indicator light are you referring to?

The only light that comes to mind is the one on the video card itself, and that one should usually go off when the PC is powered on. If you're using an ATX 3.0 PSU with 12VHPWR cable I'm not sure the light should be on period.

Understood, good to know. will try that momentarily.

That's what I am starting to believe, that the power cables may be faulty. I double checked all connections, all the cables do connect properly, so looks like one of them is faulty. Thanks for your help!
