GPU lag with youtube / disk access / etc

I built a new PC recently and am having some weird video lag issues that I shouldn't.

When playing a game (Rust/WoW/PUBG) AND watching a Youtube video, the game lags like crazy and FPS drops significantly. I thought it could be due to Youtube using hardware acceleration...but I also noticed the same lag when I opened WoW and it had to download/apply an update. That shouldnt have hit the GPU but rather CPU/HD.

This rig is higher end and shouldnt lag like this...

Disable the onboard graphics in your BIOS. Had this same issue yesterday after installing a new GPU.

When you restart it's setting your onboard as default and conflicting with the GPU, which causes the PC to lag.
