GPU LED turns on, but motherboard doesn't.

Hi people, my title is part of the problem, but not most of the problem.. D: Basically this is my first desktop build and I am having some issues. I plugged in and put everything where it is meant to be including the 24 mb power cord from my power supply, the 8 pin atx12v1, my graphics card, PCIE, RAM, CPU and my cooler. My only problem is, when I press the power switch on my Power supply, only 2 LEDS on my GPU appear. No fans turn on including the PSU fan! Is this supposed to happen? Anyway, I connected the case power button to the motherboard as well following my motherboard manual exactly as stated, but the power button doesnt work. Im very confused, and I want to know why nothing is working. When is my PSU fan supposed to turn on. What about my case fans?? Why is my GPU LEDS lighting up but nothing else?? Why is my power button not working?? HELP PLEASE!?!! HELP!!!

EVGA Super nova 650W
Case: NZXT s340
Cooler: NZXT Kraken x31
RAM: Corsair Vengance 8gbx2
GPU: Asus strix 980
Motherboard: ASROCKK x99 extreme4
CPU: Intel 5780k

That isnt everything but I hope that parts list is enough to help solve this problem thanks

The ASRock X99 Extreme4 does not support 5780K processor according to this compatibility list: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X99%20Extreme4/?cat=CPU

I don't see 5780K listed in there anyhow.
