So i sold a friend of mine a 2048sp rx 580 for a cheap price. The card was released in October 2018. I took the card apart last time and cleaned it. I'm not sure if it was used for mining because the bios was normal but it was dirty. I cleaned it and replaced the thermal paste. In my friend's rig, i configured the fan curve so that it never reaches 80C. Mostly 60 to 70C with around 55% fan speed. Power draw of the card is around 120w to 130w on load. He doesnt game every day so mostly the card will remain idle. I know there's no way to be certain but how long will the card last? Physically i mean before breaking down. I'm not talking about it being obsolete. Not sure if it's relevant but power supply is cooler master masterwatt 550w 80+ bronze. Oh yeah, i used the card myself for a month before and everything wS running fine. No artifacts etc

Solution
general lifespans of graphics cards (averaged from all graphics cards) are usually about 10 years if no damage has been sustained or any defects were made on the device during manufacturing, after 10 years graphics cards are usually reported broken or performance drops rapidly
