I am trying to determine what is wrong with my GPU which is an 3 year old MSI R9 380 that just went out of warranty. Currently the lights on the GPU are on, but the fans aren't spinning and it can't be detected by Speccy or Device Manager. I have tried re-seating it and the ram, re-installing Windows 10, cleaning it and the PCIe slot, and resetting the bios. Unfortunately I don't have access to another PC to test the card with or another PSU to try out. The PC is able to boot and run fine on the onboard graphics so I guess the motherboard is fine. Is it time to give up on this card and consider it dead?
