Hi folks!

I need help. I'm swamped and have barely any time on my hands, so I can't troubleshoot as I use to. I thought someone here might bring light to what's wrong so I can optimize what to actually look for.

Here's the problem
When I play GPU-heavy games, they "crash". Depending on the game, it acts a bit differently. Games such as F1, Hots, Overwatch and COD: Warzone freeze up for one second and then the program just ends. I receive an error message that says roughly "Rendering device not found".

Some other games, as World of Warcraft and Rocket League, freeze up 5 seconds, disappears for 5 seconds and then reappears. It's like an uncontrolled timed force tab down.

My monitors don't turn off or lose signal, and I can immediately use software other than what crashed. These errors occur differently for each game, but roughly every 5 minutes.

When I stress-test my GPU, it doesn't crash.

Here's my setup and when it started to happen
CPUIntel i-7700K, used to be clocked to 4,35 GHz but now reset to 4,2 GHz
GPUEVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC Gaming 8GB
MBMSI Z270 SLI Plus
RAM2X Crucial Ballistix Sport LT Red DDR4 2400MHz 8GB (Total 16 GB)
PSUCorsair 500W
Storage1TB M2 SSD, 2x 128 GB Sata SSDs and 500GB HDD
MonitorsSamsung 27" G7 Odyssey (DisplayPort), ASUS 24" VG248QE (DVI, disconnected), Samsung 24" SyncMaster P2470HD (HDMI)
PeripheralsMouse, Keyboard, Headset

Problems started when I got my G7 Odyssey. I used to run two monitors, the ASUS and the SyncMaster, but got the G7 and aimed for a triple setup. I realized quite quickly (but not right away) that some of the heaviest games crashed, such as F1 and Warzone. I then disconnected my ASUS and it was fine for some days.

Here's what I've tested
I could have sworn this was an issue with my memory, but I can't find it.
  • MemTest on both RAM-sticks, no errors.
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled graphic drivers and everything related to NVIDIA several times.
  • Reset clock values.
  • Updated BIOS.
  • Made sure every power cable is thoroughly connected.
Does anyone recognize this? Where should I go from here?
