Hello,

Ever since I've built my PC the GPU is making these revving noises. I've checked through the case window and the GPU fans are turning on and off repeatedly even when idle. They do this for 5-6 times and then go off and the noise is no more. This happens periodically even while I'm writing this. The thing that confuses me is that when the PC is doing nothing the GPU's fans aren't turning at all and then this happens out of nowhere.

The card is still under warranty and I don't know should I get a replacement.

Specifications:
CPU: Intel i5 6400
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition 4GB
RAM: Crucial 2133Mhz 2x4GB DDR4
MOBO: ASUS H110M-D
HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200 rpm
PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W
Monitor: LG 24GM77

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Personally, I have a asus strix version of what you have and the fans turn off at idle but under load they dont come on for a while. I would assume this is because you have an OC gpu so it gets hotter amd so needs to do this. Same applies for loud revving noises too. See if there is any options in BIOS or somewhere related to the gpu to set the fan speeds or mode. I aint a pro at this so dont judge if im wrong. Im just giving ideas lol

I use Speccy to monitor the component's temperatures and the GPU temps never go beyond 58 degrees celsius(while idle at least, haven't checked when gaming). As I've read these temperatures should be normal. I have downloaded some GPU monitoring software from Nvidia before and the fan speed was always set at default. Will check the BIOS settings and come back to report.

UPDATE: There are no settings related to the GPU fans' speed in the BIOS. But I don't think that is connected to this.
