Question GPU massively underperforming and causing my PC to crash and shutdown ?

For half a year now I've been having problems with the performance of my GPU but have been too busy to attempt to fix it. I' am running a Radeon RX480 and have never had any problems but suddenly it began to crash when running games the framerate drops down to single digits and then the screen goes black and the fans spin at full speed, the computer becomes unresponsive and has to be switched off at the wall. I have taken apart the card since the problems started trying to see if there were problems such as visible damage but have found nothing obvious. The cards drivers are up to date and I have tried the card in another computer and ran into the same issues. I attempted to complete this standard benchmark (https://www.userbenchmark.com/Software) but my computer crashed while running it so after 5 attempts to no avail I gave up.

Aim for at least B Tier.
FYI, the Aerocool Integrator is way down there at F. The company also pulled a bait-n-switch on some reviewers; supplied with a cherry-pick, but the actual retail product was garbage.
