Gpu memory and power consumption

I ordered a graphics card (AMD Radeon HD6450 2GB)

I have a optiplex 990 sff and it is recommended for me to get the 1GB version of the same card.

Does the 2GB version increase the power consumption of the card and if it does is it much of an increase?

Ywes it increases power consumption but its minimal and wont effect the system adversly.
I hope you ordered the low profile version of that card otherwise it will be too tall to fit.

yes i ordered a lp version with another bracket for the vga. Thanks for the reply!
