GPU/Memory Clock questions

Should the GPU core clock be higher or lower than the memory clock?

Does it even matter?

Also is my OC safe with my PSU?

CPU: AMD FX-4300 Quad-Core Processor OC'd at 4.4ghz

GPU: Radeon R7 240 2GB. Core clock OC'd at 930MHz from 600.

RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz OC'D at 945 MHz.

I've tested on high end games (Dying Light, Dark Souls 2 SOTFS) and everything seemed fine, temps never rise to dangerous levels (50-53 on CPU, 50-60 on GPU).

My PSU is 500W.

there isnt a ratio between gpu core and memory clock that should be maintained. in general, the higher these values are, the better performance.

your psu isnt that power hungry with such gpu with no supplementary power need , however a quality unit must be always present especially on overclocked gaming pc.

i would replace that unit asap . stay away from apevia
