Question gpu memory

i have a rtx 2060 6gb, and when i play a game, for example dayz, it runs very good even on extreme graphics, but the gpu memory starts on low, then it goes up to the point where my pc freezes and i have to restart it, i wonder what's wrong

i use msi afterburner and rivatunerstatistics to see the memory usage
