GPU - mobo compatibility + CPU stuff if you can help

Hello! I'm new to these forums and this is actually my first time ever asking something on a forum.
I'm currently picking parts for a gaming build and I would like to know if the GPU I chose (Gtx 1060 ROG Strix) is compatible with the ROG Strix B250F mobo. What I want to know is if the card, being a bit large, will fall off a bit, reducing the efficiency and lowering its performance.
The second thing I want to know is if the i5-6500 CPU is a good choice for my build or if I'd rather buy a Z model board and an unlocked CPU. If you think the second one is the way to go, please recommend me a mobo and a CPU at a good price.

Thanks for anything and everything in advance.
(English is not my main language so I apologize if there's something wrong with this post.)

"What I want to know is if the card, being a bit large, will fall off a bit, reducing the efficiency and lowering its performance."

Short Answer: No.
Longer Answer: Most cases will have a small screw that would secure the graphics card the the side of the case.

Short Answer: Depends.
Long Answer: You will not be at a disadvantage to purchase either given their relative prices. If you want to tackle with overclocking, you will also need to buy an aftermarket cooler for your processor alongside a more expensive CPU/motherboard. Unless you are a PC-addicted enthusiast or crave for those extra 5...

If you want to tackle with overclocking, you will also need to buy an aftermarket cooler for your processor alongside a more expensive CPU/motherboard. Unless you are a PC-addicted enthusiast or crave for those extra 5 frames, I do not see why you would need an unlocked CPU+Z motherboard.

Advice: Microcenter has amazing CPU+Motherboard combos that end up being really cheap. If you are in the US, definitely look into those.
