GPU/Monitor Calibration help

Should I calibrate my monitor and graphics using the monitor's settings, or by using the GPU settings in AMD Catalyst Control Center. What gets better picture quality?

The combo in question (If it matters):
AMD Radeon R9 270
HP 2711x Monitor (1920x1080 @60Hz)
