So yesterday i wanted to pop in a new hard drive, to do that i had to take out my graphics card so i did. When i put it back in the power led of the gpu would work but the fans wouldn't be spinning and i would get no screen.
So i'm guessing it's faulty since a diff pcie port didn't cut it.

Also now when i start the pc it stays on and i can't turn the pc off and since i got no onboard graphics i don't know what its doing.
Is the board possibly faulty too?

reset the BIOS by jumper clearCmos (read the manual how to)

remove the M.2 SSD and try the GPU in the PCIe 1 again.

did you plug in the power cords of the GPU again?

which motherboard and gpu are you using?
Yup i have the power cords in, i have the B450M DS3H V2 motherboard and the RX580 gpu, i just researched cmos but it was for intel so is this possible with amd?
If it doesn't work i'm sending my gpu and motherboard back because i still have warranty

Thanks helpstar, resetting the cmos fixed the issues thanks for saving me the trouble of sending it back to the vendor :)
