Question gpu no display but mouse and keyboard are working.

so i was playing with my pc the other night and i turn i offt the next day it wont show anything, monitor is blackscreen. so i tried resitting the card and it is still the same. it is still blackscreen the only thing i notice is that my mouse and keyboard are working and i think i am in the desktop menu please help.

Do you have an onbaord GPU you can plug into just to check your monitor is not at fault? Also is the monitor power light on orange indicating no signal or green? If it works OK with the onboard then your GPU could be faulty. If it is the same with the onboard then try resetting the default settings on your monitor.

If it really is a black screen and it does not show "No signal" message, the first thing to check is that the monitor itself hasn't died, so try it on another PC.
