Question GPU not connected after MOBO/CPU swap

Upgraded to AM5.. GPU is not detected, cannot update driver etc..

Rog strix B650-A gaming
Ryzen 9 7900x
Gigabyte 3080 vision
850 watt PSU

A 2080 is also not detected, both cards work just fine in other build

Updated BIOS
Card is connected properly and seated
Cannot update driver, NVIDIA does not detect hardware
PCIE graphics is enabled in BIOS as primary
Windows 11 is fully updated, although at the moment having issues avtivating it
Also fixed issue where it said windows update will not install new drivers

This is the 2nd mobo as I did return one before this with same issue when couldnt figure it out.

yes, have done a fresh install of windows

install the latest chipset driver from amd.com ?

Yes, all updates have been done. Tried adding legacy drivers in DM as well.. tested the pcie slot and it works with other card ( wifi) ..

check the power cable to the gpu?

No led lights on mobo at all.. and yes, I have done the basics and beyond.

Try setting PCIE version for GPU slot to lower version (PCIE 3.0).
Try a different PCIE x16 slot.

Are you using PCIE riser cable? Is it PCIE 4.0 certified?

I have, 2nd one had same problem, ASUS told me to RMA again. Instead ordered a rog strix x670 and same issue.. used 2 different CPU's so not that.. power supply is good, both a 2080 and a 1080 would not work either. Have reset or changed everything suggested online in BIOS.. wasnt much.. ordered different ram in the slight chance that is the problem... I have no real clue
