GPU not detected by motherboard

My GPU (which works fine on another Mobo) will not be detected. It is not being detected when i enter BIOS as it says the PCIE slot is empty - so it is not the drivers.

I am completely stumped. it has been seated numerous times, computer wont boot unless its seated in the 16x and not the 8x or 4x.

I have unplugged and replugged everything. I have wiped my hdd and reinstalled windows.

I have no idea. I really need some advice :/

Yep

It could be a bent pin in the CPU socket, or power supply not providing the needed power.
