System Specs :
CPU: Intel i7 8700 8th gen
MOBO : AS Rock Z370M-ITX/ac
SSD : Samsung 860 EVO 1 Tb
GPU : EVGA Nvidea Geforce Gtx 1060
PSU : Corsair CX500
RAM : Corsair 8gb x 2 Vengeance
OS : Windows 10 Home

My gpu will not be detected no matter what. The fans spin when booting but then cut off when getting to my desktop.

things I've tried :
checking all connections for gpu
disabled on board graphics and plug in hdmi to graphics card instead
update BIOS to latest version
show hidden devices in device manager
set primary graphics in BIOS settings to PCI-e slot

nothing has worked yet at all, can someone help please!

Wow. Ok.

Then find a local store with a no restocking fee policy and start replacing parts. First would be the gpu, then the psu, then the mobo.

why would i replace everything if my computer works fine just the gpu doesn't work. I can see my desktop and everything and I have intel hd graphics....it's just the 1060 not working.

I don't think he meant replace everything. I think he meant replace the GPU first. If it still doesn't work with a 2nd new card then the odds of you getting 2 bad cards in a row are pretty slim. Then you would have top look into what else could possibly be faulty.

It seems that the gpu is at fault. Trying using different display ports on the gpu.
Or clean gpu if dust has built up. Make sure it sits firmly on the board and some thing is not obstructing the pins contact.
If none of the above works then i could get problematic.
