Hi, so I've been running into some issues after replacing my PSU (I replaced it with the exact same model that died on me).

GPU: RX 580
PSU: Corsair VS550
Motherboard: Mortar Arctic B350m

GPU is not detected through any output (tried Display Port, DVI, HDMI), and does not show up in device manager.
I managed to get it working for around half a day, until my entire neighbourhoods power cut out, and then the original issue started again.

Perhaps useful information:
GPU lights and fans are on

Things I've tried:
  • Uninstalled drivers with DDU and Reinstalled
  • Cleared CMOS, twice.
  • Reseating GPU (About 30 times now, as I think this is what got it to work again for half a day)
  • Reseating RAM
  • Checked all cables
  • Updated other drivers such as motherboard and even audio
  • Yelled at it
This all happened after my original PSU died and my PC would not start, it was also a Corsair VS550, and I replaced it with the same model. Replacing the PSU fixed that problem, but then I came across this.
Currently getting very frustrated, and would appreciate any advice. I don't think the GPU is dead since it did spring back into action, but the latest power outage may have kicked it over the edge.

Part of the problem is you've replaced it with the same power supply, and the VS series is notoriously bad quality (myself and many others on here have had multiple problems with the VS series) and it is also known to damage other components along the way.

So there is every possibility the previous PSU has damaged your other components.

Equally, it is poor quality anyway, so you want to get a good quality unit first.
