Gpu not detected.

Hello, I am having some strange issues, I cannot get video on my gpu to my LCD TV through hdmi, also, the gpu is not being detected by my system, however the fans are spinning, I did a multiude of system restore's and it worked until I would shut off and restart my system, then I had to restore my system again, but now everytime I restore it doesnt do anything, no idea what is going on. I think it may be a driver or software issue, please help. Also, when ever I hibernate my system, I get a error that says something about my memory configuration has changed, and to press enter to continue or restart.

GPU- 6 month old r9 290 tri-X
core i5 2400 cpu
8 gigs of ripjaws ram.

The hardware part: is your PSU good and powerful enough to support your system?
The software part: download and install the driver sweeper from here http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html Then run it and use it to remove your GPU drivers. Follow the suggestions/instructions on the website. Download and install the latest drivers from AMD website.
