Hi,

My GPU suddenly stopped working and isn't being detected.

Everything was working fine till last night when I shut my PC down. When I tried turning my PC back on in the morning, the GPU was no more being detected.

The GPU was in perfect condition and didn't show any signs of defect. No BSOD, no artifacts and no over heating. Last I used my PC it was working perfect, not slow or anything.

The GPUs fan spins, it gets a little warm too.

What I tried:

  • I tried rubbing the dirt of the GPU connectors with a rubber
Opened and cleaned all the dust
Looking for any burns on the GPU(no burnt spots found)
Checked if PCIe is working by using a another PCIe card(works fine)
Checked if the PSU atx was giving the proper voltage
Tried GPU on another PC(however, this PC had a 450W PSU which was also not branded)
Reset BIOS and made sure the PC detects PCIe first

Even after trying all of the above, still my GPU doesn't seem to be detected.

Note: My GPU is out of warranty
