Question GPU NOT DETECTING

Just built my new pc last night but when I turn it on a red light pops up for GPU for a few seconds then turns off. When started the GPU lights up and the fans spin idk if that will happen with a dead GPU...
Amd Ryzen 2700x
Msi b450 tomahawk
Msi rtx 2070
EVGA bronze 600

BE SURE to get a decent PSU to run the setup. Hard to tell with a poor power supply.
