GPU not displaying?

got a new computer (quite new to this) just trying to put in a second hand gpu, i can see it working inside since the fan on it is going but when i connect my monitor to its port theres no display... i have another port which i can connect my monitor to which is working but the gpu isnt coming up when i look in device manager🙁

Try turning IGPU off in BIOS.
