GPU not fully utilized

Hi, for some reason after reformatting my pc my graphics card have been acting funky.

heres a picture of my gpu stats under gaming(playing ark at the moment)

For some reason the gpu wont be 100% utilized its pretty much stuck at 500 clock speed and 50% power used.

but the thing is after reinstalling nvidia drivers it all works fine for like.. 1 game session then I have to reinstall nvidia drivers again and again and again.


Im really sorry for my shitty english I had to type all this in a hurry but I really hope you can help and I really apprieciate all help i get

It's normal for a card to reduce its clock speed (and therefore heat production/power consumption) when at idle, but not under gaming load. When you reinstall drivers, do you remove the old ones using Display Driver Uninstaller?

Yes I've tried to uinstall witht he DDU tool like literally THOUSANDS for times and also the nivdia drivers but nothing is fixing this for me.. well it is fixing it for me but its only temporary(1 gamign session)

The latest NVIDIA drivers (353.30)
and also the OS im using is Windows 8.1

Okay, they are the latest drivers. Have you tried using older drivers? Sometimes the latest drivers aren't necessarily the most stable.

No I haven't tried that. But I guess I'll try it right now then
But the thing is its not really gonan tell me wether its working or not bcuz it seems to work everytime after I've reinstalled the drivers

Try recreating what you do after you reinstall normal drivers, and then report back to me with the results. I have a few days to kill 😛

Looks good to me. Try without the overclock, however.

It seems to be working just fine for now I think.
Will report back if it starts happening again but for now thanks for all the help I appreciate it

(what i did to fix it; update to newer nivia beta driver)
